The Rider
It's safe to say Dean is the oldest member of the skateboard team. With almost a quarter of a century of riding behind him — 23 years as of 2026 — there's not much he hasn't seen or done in skateboarding.
His experience ranges from competition wins and magazine coverage to releasing a full part for Drawing Boards, marking the end of an era after riding for that well-established UK board brand for over a decade.

The Father & Lifer
Now a father to his beautiful son, Caesar, and well into his 30s, skateboarding has taken on a new meaning for him. To keep himself motivated, he tries to land tricks that are new to him and that he hasn't done before. He's one of many skateboarders who continue well into adulthood and keep skateboarding as a lifelong hobby.
Dean rides for Shrunken Head because it is his local shop, and he loves the tattoo and piercing culture Duncan has so eloquently brought together with skateboarding under one roof. He has also shown his devotion to the shop by getting numerous tattoos from different Shrunken Head artists over the years, since it has been in business.
